What owners usually ask
Is there a free trial?
Instead of a trial, you can try the full demo straight away: see it as the rental company and as the client, with sample vehicles and bookings. When you join, your first payment comes with a 30-day money-back promise.
Who owns the client data?
You do. Kairoo stores and processes your clients' details on your behalf, only to run your bookings. We never sell it or contact your clients for our own purposes.
Is my data safe and private?
Every page uses a secure connection, each company can only see its own data, and you choose what each staff member can open. Your enquiry form asks clients for consent before they continue, and Kairoo is built to meet data protection law, including POPIA.
Do I need a new website?
No. Kairoo gives you your own enquiry link. Add it to your current website as a "Get a quote" button, and use it in emails, WhatsApp and social media.
What do I need to take payments?
A Paystack account in your business's name, which you connect to Kairoo in a few minutes. Client payments go straight to you. Paystack charges its own small fee per payment; Kairoo takes nothing. More payment options are being added.
Can clients from other countries pay by card?
Yes. Once you switch on international payments in your Paystack account, clients can pay with Visa, Mastercard or American Express cards from anywhere. The money arrives in your own account.
Which countries can use Kairoo?
Kairoo is available to rental companies wherever Paystack operates: South Africa, Nigeria, Ghana, Kenya, Rwanda and Côte d'Ivoire. If your company is somewhere else, talk to us - more countries are on the way.
How does set-up work?
You can set it up yourself for free with our short guide: vehicles, prices, insurance, fees and terms. Or we do it for you: R2,500 once-off for up to 15 vehicles, R4,500 for 16 or more.
What happens when my fleet grows?
Your level moves up automatically when your number of vehicles passes a limit, and down again if it drops. Every feature stays the same.
Can I cancel?
Yes. Monthly plans can be cancelled at any time, and there's no long contract to sign.
